This and That, Tit for Tat, I want a Kit Kat

I'm over at Celery Tree blog today doing another post on my Book Tour Series. This one is on Media-- Getting Reviews and Articles. Come by and say hi!

Meanwhile, I got an award from Jai Joshi and want to pass it on to two amazing bloggers that some of you might not know about. And one that everybody knows.  But if you don't, you should. Here's the cool award--

One of the rules is to tell you a few details about myself. Well, if you've followed me here at all you know a LOT about me. Or you can go to From the Shadows to the Page and find out even more, or to Celery Tree and learn all about my book tour experience.

Basically, I'm all over the place. I get sick of me, I can't imagine anyone wanting to know anything more. So enough about me, here's the two bloggers I'm passing the award to.

Anne R. Allen is new to me recently, and I absolutely love her posts. She and I are both of the same generation, we probably passed each other at Woodstock in the Sixties. Well, if she was at Woodstock. And if I had been there, then I'm sure we would have been friends.

Another recent blog I follow is Austin James. I came across his from a Twitter link and I find his posts well-spoken and thoughtful. He is definitely worth following if you don't already.

And then there's Jen Daiker, who has tons of awards but not one from me, and I just love that girl, despite her rather perverse stalking tendencies. Who doesn't love Jen? She defines the word *awesome.*

So there's my bits of this and that. I hope to see you at Celery Tree today. If you can't make it send me a case of Kit Kats and call it good. And if you have any good tips about getting media attention for your book tour, please chime in with your comments over there. Oh, and I shrunk my giraffe so you can see the whole picture and hopefully it loads easier for you all. Hope you like it.

  2. Shrinking the Giraffe. I think that's a great eye-catching title! Getting our blogs to load swiftly is where it's at. And you know you shouldn't eat those kit-kats LOL!!

  5. Thanks a bunch Karen! My friends and I started to drive to Woodstock, but we heard about the bad brown acid and the mud, so we went back to Boston. Sigh.

And thanks for taking my advice about the giraffe. I do think it looks better.

Now I'm on my way to check out Austin and Jen and your post at Celery Tree.

  8. Ahhh!? You're kidding me! I snagged an award from YOU?! And you even used the small font! Oh my gosh you are so my bestie!!

How can anyone get sick of you?! I love all your blogs! All different and unique. I'm just impressed that you avidly keep them up. I can barely keep up with Unedited!

PS - Clearly you love being stalked ;)

  10. Nancy, Oh wow too bad the three of us didn't make it, we could have hung out together and got stoned. LOL just kidding, I never did drugs. Chocolate has always been my drug of choice.

Jen, Yes I've noticed that Jules has been conspicuously absent lately! Oh well, believe me doing more than one blog can be a real killer some days.

  13. Austin, About the little font-- you can copy it. Jen Daiker uses it all the time and we all know she copied it from me but we are still besties. So feel free!
