Anyone else having Blogger issues?

Why is it that the one day I set aside a few hours to go blog-hopping, I get Blogger issues? Grrrr! The dashboard won't come up. When it does it's empty and says I don't currently follow any blogs. Yeah, right. When I do get to a blog, the pop up comment form won't pop up. Grrrr again!

During the latest round of complaints that I noticed from Blogger bloggers, I happily went my rounds, free of any trouble. Ha! Now I'm paying for it.

Ah well, maybe later this weekend Blogger will be nice and let me do my visiting....Meanwhile, thank you to all who so faithfully keep coming back to my blog. I'd like to return the favor, and I will, just apparently not today....

  1. I'm a little afraid to say no ...all has been well with blogger. Hopefully that will continue to be the case!

  4. If it helps I am too. I had some problems yesterday, so was just attributing it to those. It seems very slow to navigate today and very slow loading.

  5. I often have problems with my reading list disappearing, and the other day, Blogger ate one of my posts! I was not best pleased!

  6. Hi Karen, well the blogger goblins are still at play. I'm tip-toeing around now so they don't notice me. ;-) Have a lovely weekend my dear! x

  7. My dashboard says that sometimes, which is why I only use Google Reader.

  8. Since shifting to Google Chrome, I've had less problems with Blogger. Maybe they threw a few bugs in the system so that IE wasn't as compatible.

Maybe Google is thinking world domination.

  9. Hi Karen .. I wish I could comment on embedded boxes - I sound like a wind-up clock constantly whining down! Have to sort it by April .. it's coming fast ..

Occasionally I've lost my dashboard and today I'm happily working away - they take away my gmail .. lot in please! Well what do you think I was doing .. and then they take away my Reader - log in please ..

I wish they'd look to their own - rather than worry about mundane old me!!

I haven't a clue how my dashboard reader works .. I only use Reader .. thank goodness my memory is pretty good!!

have a good weekend .. and hope things get fixed .. cheers Hilary

  10. This happens to me sometimes too. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. I think it's a Google corporate plan or some sort of devious government conspiracy.

  11. I get that sometimes too and pages won't load etc etc. I definitely think google do it on purpose; they are up to something! :)

  12. That also was a problem with my Dashboard, but I have no problems with Reader. Try opening Google Reader -- all the blogs you follow should appear in there (If not, go into settings and see if you can turn on "view blogs I follow" or some such similar option)

    They should all be there!

  13. I seem to have escaped this round of troubles with Booger...er, I mean Blogger. *knocks wood* Hope your issues clear up soon! :)

  14. The worst for me was trojan issues. My whole computer had to go in for debugging and was rather costly to put right. When I get Blogger issues it's usually when I could do without the hassle admittedly. They can hear my growls around the village when that happens, so I can empathise wholeheartedly.

  15. I haven't been having those issues but it's been taking ages for my comments to post! Driving me crazy! And that new verificstion thing is sooo annoying.

  16. I get that plenty of times! I end up using the evil Google Reader instead!

But the Dashboard updates come up the next day though!

    Good luck! Take care

  17. Hmmm, I'm sorry you're having problems, Karen. Nothing happening at mine...at the moment, anyway! I attribute any problems to TWO major happenings, though.....

  18. The first time I got the "You are not following any blogs" message I nearly had a heart attack. Blogger has given me many problems. I lost all my pictures. On most of my older posts I only have black triangles with an exclamation mark in it. Hope all get sorted and your next attempt at blog hopping is more successful! Have a great weekend.

  19. This happens to me occasionally but usually if I refresh the page my blogs reappear.

Thankfully, I haven't had any issues with Blogger in a while. I used to hate when I'd want to follow a blog and the follow button wouldn't show.

  20. Yes, that happened to me recently. All set and ready to visit, and no blog roll. Very frustrating. Then, just as mysteriously, it fixed itself.

  21. I shall make no complaints. I fear the ju-ju that may pass along to my blog. However, I will commiserate with you by sharing a virtual plate of my favorite snack: chocolate chip cookies.

  22. I have trouble sometimes getting other people's blogs to open up. I want to read, but it just won't open. But that's not every day, every time. Still, it's enough to make me a bit crazy.

  23. I've found my dashboard empty a few times, but the blogs I follow have always come back after a while. So far...

  24. YEah, that happens to me sometimes. However, I eventually just refresh enough and it comes back. Hope things work out over the weekend.
