Best Blogging Day of the Month

The first Wednesday of the month is the day I just have to find time to blog hop and visit all the Insecure Writer posts. As a result of visiting and commiserating with many of the Insecure Writer posts I've now run out of time to write my own.

But in a nutshell, my insecurities right now have to do with my weight, my age, my poor eating habits, my lack of exercise . . . .well, never mind.

I do have a new laptop though. A red one! Yay!

  1. Hehe! I know what you mean. It's so much fun to blog hop and see everyone's IWSG posts, but then the day's gone before we know it.

  5. At least you don't have to feel insecure about caring for and supporting others, insecure or not, writers or not.

    1. Jenn, It's an HP, was a great deal at Costco and I couldn't be happier :) Purple would have been cool too. Why are there so many black and gray laptops when they could just as easily make red, purple, pink and green ones?

  7. Red! Very cool. Now I have laptop envy. :)

  11. I love popping through my feed reader and reading all the ISWG posts. Even if I don't have anything particular to say, just all these people coming out at once and talking about the ups and downs of writing is awesome.

  12. Lol...me too! I've eaten nothing but garbage all week, and I have no idea how I'll get any exercise or writing done with two kids!

I will try really hard to hop over to as many blogs as I can, but the timing of this month's IWSG is less than ideal. Next month, I'll have more time to read everyone's blog posts.

  14. Hey, Karen - how are you? I sent you an email about Celery Tree, but never heard back. Did you receive it or are you mad at me?

    1. Karen, LOL, of course not! I'm just not sure how to handle CT right now. I'm looking for someone to help with administration. Will email you in case you don't come back to check replies.

  15. Ooh la la, a red laptop - congratulations! I was just thinking that even if I end up cutting way back on blogging (which seems to be happening involuntarily lately) I will always continue on with IWSG. :)

Guess what just arriiiiived - Farm Girl! My to be read list is a bit out of control, so I'm going to give it to my mom to read first - she's an Illinois Farm Girl and I expect will enjoy the book very much.

  16. Best day of the month to blog. I must remember that.

    Thanks for the insight, karen.

BTW, isn't the notion of "insecure" and "writers" redundant?

  17. Shiny red cars are what woman our age are suppossed to be wanting but not writers ! Red laptops for us I guess. I sense some very dramatic writing coming from that baby!
