Last week my husband suggested an idea. He said, “How about every day we
talk about God’s tender mercies that come to us.” So we began. And we
couldn’t think of anything. It was a stressful day at work and neither
of us felt particularly good or energetic or joyful. Tender mercies?

ReplyDeleteWell, Karen, I count my blessings every day or try to every day. I kinda think counting blessings and tender mercies could be in the same category - maybe. I haven't seen the first robin of spring or seen mother nature push her greens up outta the earth yet, but I am thankful that the high snow banks the house and keeps us even more warm against this very chilly winter morning. Really nice post - I liked this very much. Have a wonderful day.

ReplyDeleteWe cannot conceive just how many and what abundance and blessings God truly has for us. We get but a glimpse now and then here on Cosmos Diabolicus, as I call it. This gives us the strength to carry on and live one day at a time. But one day his true power, mercy, compassion and love will come to full fruition and we shall live with Him and our loved ones in perfect peace and absolute happiness. The sooner the better. I believe we are well into the last days.
