  2. A friend gave me her old Kindle, but I haven't taken the time to figure out how wi-fi works out here in the middle of nowhere. I know I'm missing out on many blogger friends' e-books and free offers like this one. I will get it done after all these health issues I have are resolved.

  5. Aww, I have a Nook, not a Kindle! But that's cool of you to give away a free copy to those who own Kindles. I'm seriously considering saving up for a Kindle, since it seems like a lot of interesting books like yours are available on Kindle but not on Nook. I like the title and cover of your book too, by the way.

  8. I'm glad that a few of you are able to download it. My books go on free every so often and unfortunately I don't think to blog about it. But then when I come across a blog advertising a free Kindle book I'm eager to download and read it. I'll try to be more open in posting about my own freebies.

  9. Dear Karen: What a nice, generous gesture on your behalf. I have already read your book and loaned it to my neighbour; a sweet little elderly lady who loves to read. I shall tell my Sister about your offer as she just purchased a kindle - I have had a kindle for a few years now and am just thinking about upgrading - I would love to purchase a Kindle Fire, however I hear they do not work in Canada - Imagine, in this technological world we live in, the Kindle Fire supposedly does not work outside the USA. Darn, I'm ready to move up and the kindle fire would have suited me just swell. Have a wonderful day.

    1. SaucyKod, I'm a little nervous about a sweet elderly lady reading Candles, the edgiest of my books. Maybe Farm Girl would be more to her liking? LOL.
