Time to Sign Up for the A to Z Challenge!

http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com/2014/01/the-2014-to-z-challenge-list-is-open.html

Every year I just can't resist the lure of the A to Z Challenge. The challenge of posting daily through the month of April. The lure of the alphabet. What writer can resist the alphabet? It's the tools of our trade after all.

I'm not yet sure what my theme will be, but I can bet it'll have something to do with an expat writer living her dream in Guatemala.

Want to sign up? Head on over to Arlee Bird's blog right here.

  2. I hoping to work with a group for the A to Z challenge. It would cool to get back into this again. It was, afterall, my first A to Z challenge that kickstarted my Indie publishing career :-)

  3. I'm seeing this on a few blogs today: it's come round again very quickly hasn't it? I think I'll probably give it a miss this year. Well, unless a killer theme comes to me sometime soon...

  6. HI, Karen,

I LOVE your Header pic... So beautiful. I hope Guatemala is a living dream for you! At least you are out of the COLD!!!!

This winter is kicking me to the ground. I can't take much more of these minus wind chills and knee deep snow. I am so longing to escape to the south!

Today I took the first step in preparing my condo for sale. I hope to put it on the market within the next few weeks. Once sold, I will break the sound barrier for speed moving south! LOL.

As for the A-Z, every year I say, well I just have the time...every April first I am posting. LOL. The same goes for this year.

I guess it all depends where I'm at ... if I'm moving HOPEFULLY, I will pass but if I am still locked away in Siberia. Perhaps. How's that for a definite maybe. LOL.

ALL the best! I am really thrilled you are living your dream!

  12. Unfortunately I can't sign up because I'm basically drowning in footnotes over here (my dissertation and all the scholarly books I have to read). But I'm looking forward to reading your A to Z posts; it's always a relief to read good writing like yours after reading books that have at least 75-100 footnotes per chapter. (I wish I was exaggerating.)

  20. Oh, I loved the A to Z challenge when I did it a few years ago. Unfortunately, I anticipate being very busy for the earlier half of 2014, and I don't think I'll have the time. But I'll check out others' posts for sure. :)

  23. Probably not, but I'm not positive yet. I reeeeeeally need to get cracking on my next book, and I'm not talented enough to juggle a while lot of blogging with a whole lot of writing. Something's gotta give. But good luck to y'all. I know you'll have fun with it.

  25. Thanks for the reminder and I can't believe you have actually moved. I can't wait to read an A to Z of your new life and adventures.

  26. I've signed up. This is only my third time doing the challenge. Last year still haunts me. Two days before it started my job picked up some extra work and we stayed swamped through April. I am trying not to let that bother me this year, but it has. Maybe I just need a new game plan!

  29. Karen, thank you for visiting my blog for #IWSG Wednesday. I have signed up for the 2014 A-Z Challenge. I use it to jumpstart my blogging juices for the rest of the year. I even have the topics picked: Blues, Interviews, Pupus, and Reviews. Should be fun, and I look forward to reading all about you living your dream in Guatemala!
