And April Around the Corner

Ever feel like life is on high speed? It's past the half-way point in March which means April is ahead and we all know what that means: A TO Z CHALLENGE.

Funny, when I signed up for the Challenge it felt like there was plenty of time. To plan out posts and write them in advance, take photos of my life here in beautiful Guatemala, get them on the laptop and lined up for those 30 alphabetized posts.

GAH! But every year is the same. The A to Z Challenge entices me and then I want to quit haha!

Which is why it's a challenge. If it were easy, it would have died out by now. People are attracted to challenge--we like to do hard, even impossible tasks. We're all sick that way.

See you back here in April!

  1. I like to see what other folks come up with, so I do check it out. I just don't have the time to do post everyday myself. Just like I say every year, "Maybe next year!."

  4. I'd say I'm definitely attracted to challenge; if I wasn't, I wouldn't be in grad school right now. :) On the other hand, sometimes I want to break up with that challenge, sighhh...
I'm looking forward to reading your A to Z posts!

  5. I enjoy a challenge but don't care for impossible tasks. Not for me. But I wish you luck and fun in your A/Z game.

  6. Stopping by from the A-Z list. This will be my 4th year of the challenge. I'm never very far ahead of the alphabet, but somehow make it through. Always fun to see what people are coming up with.

Yes - it is a challenge and I haven't started mine, even though I'd decided on the theme a year ago ... I'll get there - but it will be a hairy ride ...

See you shortly ... cheers Hilary

  14. Sometimes everything can seem like a challenge, Karen, attending college as a mother of five, finding time to write--and blog! I love the photo at the top of your blog. I'll catch you in April as well. Enjoy your stay in Gautemala. ~Victoria Marie Lees

  15. Dear Karen, I'll see you in just a few days as the challenge starts. I've never done the challenge because I'm such a slacker when it comes to having to commit to something that takes that kind of time. I wish you success with it this year. Peace.

  16. Yes, I agonize over this until it starts, then once it's underway I think my endurance gene kicks in and I'm fine. See you in April. . .a lot.
