Paddling On to More Adventures in 2015

This doesn't look much like the Decembers I'm used to but I'm enjoying it anyway. Despite feeling as tipsy as I look, my first time on a "stand-up" paddle board.

Wishing a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to my blogging friends... wherever life takes you!

  4. You are daring to do this fully clothed as I would have already taken a dip. This is great and kudos to you! A Merry Christmas to you too:)

  5. Hi Karen - it does look an amazing place you've decided to 'settle in' for now - and how lovely you'll be able to enjoy a warm Christmas in those stunning surroundings ... excellent that you can paddle on too into 2015 .. cheers Hilary

  6. You're going to have a very different Christmas.

I have no sense of balance and couldn't possible do a stand up board.

  7. Oh, my! I don't know if I'm more envious of your lovely weather or of the fact that you can stay balanced on that board. On your knees, yet. Heck, mine creak at the thought of doing that.

Merry Christmas to you and yours! :)

  8. Ouch. Cold winter mix of snow, rain and sleet here. Can I trade?

  10. The same to you, Karen! Beautiful photo. We have those paddle boards here on the east coast; however, I would get tired of kneeling or standing. Besides, I'd rather walk the ocean's foam or swim.

Before you know it, you'll be a pro on that board.

  16. Happy Christmas. Looks like great fun.

Normally, we have snow and cold but this year it was like spring. Very fun. This weekend though, we're back to winter as Mother Nature howls. Burrrrr.

Happy Christmas. Happy 2015. Have a Yummy New Year.
