Celery Tree now has a blog! And guess who is over there writing for it! Like I don't have enough blogs LOL, sure what's one more? Here's the link.
And I'm not alone over there. Do you remember this photo?
See the little blonde girl with her thumb in her mouth? That is now my lovely grown daughter, Liesel DeVaul, a writer and editor, who is one of the Celery Tree founders. Stop by and say hi to Liesel and me!
And in case you're wondering what Liesel looks like now, here's a picture from her wedding, as she speaks to her grandmother. Sorry you can't see her lovely face, but this is probably how she likes it, as she is even more reclusive than I am.
It's a family affair! Awesome. :)
ReplyDeletewoo hoo will go check it out
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteI shall drop in and introduce myself. Great advice you gave at your previous post-which I just read. I gather though, that the first thing one must do is to polish a manuscript before showing it to anybody.
What advice do you have for those of us who are not happy yet with their manuscript?
lakeviewer, If you're not happy, yet stuck, that's a good time to let someone whose opinion you respect take a look and give feedback. And if their comments are right, they'll resonate with you. If they don't get it right AT ALL, then try someone else.
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking, I love to give advice :)
Oh yahoo! I'm assuming Liesel DeVaul and L.A. Devaul are the same? I've missed her blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on visiting soon. I put your "Celery Tree" button on my sidebar. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness what a talented family!! Yay!! and fab news that the Celery Tree is all up and running!! I hope the giraffe will come along too for a nibble!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care
x
Kitty, We may be talented but we are also slightly crazy LOL. Don't you just want to see the giraffe under the celery tree? I do!
ReplyDeleteJules, Yay! Thank you!!
Kate, yes, one and the same. And she's so reclusive that she didn't like to keep blogging. But she is helping with the Celery Tree blog, because it's something she believes in so strongly.
So what are you ever going to do if you ever get any free time? You are in your element, so have at it....
ReplyDeleteAnd what did she say when you told her you were posting that first photo?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way for mother and daughter to work together! I'll definitely check it out.
ReplyDeleteooh, from what I can see of that dress, it looks fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on Celery Tree...and thank you!
ReplyDeleteWow! She looks stunning!
