Hmm let's see, which of my many insecurities and anxieties shall I publicize today? There's the health issues, the procrastination, the concerns over what direction my blog should go this year, the fact that the first half of my current wip needs a complete rewrite, my project Celery Tree, sales of my books.....
Bring on the cookies! Milk, anyone?
The cookies are back! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteThose cookies look amazing. I'm in for a few. Lol
ReplyDeleteWhat an amusing post! Anyone who can make those lovely cookies in such competent quantities has no reason for insecurity.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, chocolate chip cookies never fail to alleviate insecurities and stress! Milk and cookies Cheers to you :)
ReplyDeleteOh, my! Those cookies look AMAZING. You should get insecure more often. ;)
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I'm with you on many insecurities as well. Nothing like cookies and milk/coffee/tea to make things seem better and brighter! :)
ReplyDeleteI with ya! But you have to shake it off and just do what we do...what we gotta do. All of us have them, just try not to play in them too long.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know insecurities could taste so good! But seriously, keep at it, I'll be cheering for you. :)
ReplyDeleteCan I come over??! Lots of the same insecurities here. Sending you positive cookie vibes! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh yum.. I'd be in heaven with all those cookies right now. Just remember these things take time. Success isn't an overnight event. And look at how much you have going on!! Impressive lady!
ReplyDeleteOh, yummy...my kids would love to have a mom like you. :) You are a smashing success in so many ways and a true inspiration.
ReplyDeleteHehe, I think your comment at my place about why we blog has more than just a speck of truth in it. ;)
Mmm, cookies!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure everything will work out with all your insecurities. Until then, have a cookie. :)
Cookies always make me feel better. Things will work out. Sometimes it just takes time. <3
ReplyDeleteCookies...yum. I'll eat and listen :) My theory is everything has a way of working itself out! Well, that is what I tell myself anyways, lol.
ReplyDeleteThose cookies look delicious!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I'm so insecure about a ton of stuff right now, some of it writing related and some of it not. Good luck with your WIP rewrite!
insecure writing can always be overcome with cookies.
ReplyDeleteAre those chocolate chip? Can you send me your address? I'll bring the milk.
ReplyDeleteCookies! Yes! AND, I downloaded your book and it is next on my list to read. I find myself in good company with this Insecure Writers Support Group! Keep baking AND writing!
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy the cookie pictures!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you sound just as busy as me! Thanks for the cookies!
ReplyDeleteOh, virtual cookies! I'll eat those :) I'll even drink milk with them. Thanks.

Definitely something comforting in the cookies, when all else fails!

Mmm cookies! Everything's better now :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, please. A couple dozen for sure, then we'll go from there. :)
ReplyDeleteYou know what they say about courage - it's not the lack of fear that makes you brave, it's the forging ahead even when you are afraid. You may feel insecure inside, but you Do Stuff Anyway, and you do so well! For those moment when you need a boost, cookies definitely work!
ReplyDeleteYou tempt us with cookies!!!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha cookies will only add to my insecurities, since I'm on a health bend right now in an attempt to lose 25 kg. :-D
ReplyDeleteHope the health issues don't last long. Those cookies do look good, though. And cookies make everything better.
ReplyDeleteExcept perhaps waistlines...
How could I have forgotten that cookies are the cure for everything!
ReplyDeleteCure for insecurity: eat cookies and get back to work. : )
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness, it's funny how life gives us so many things to gnaw on that we really can't change--or at least we can only change small aspects of. My theory is to focus on only what I can fix.
Mmmm, cookies. I always wished more restaurants would serve cookies as desserts, because I always liked them better than pie or cake. I think procrastination makes a lot of us anxious, because we always think that we should be getting more stuff done, which often makes us feel overwhelmed. I think it has something to do with the American work ethic, where we're pressured to work hard all the time.
ReplyDeleteSuper lots and super yummy! :O)
ReplyDeleteCookies are even better than chicken soup at curing whatever ails you.
ReplyDeleteYummy, cookies!! I love cookies, possibly more than any other dessert. Well, gelato may win over cookies. I wouldn't refuse either one, though.

Cookies and milk may be the solution to every problem. Except, perhaps, diabetes.
ReplyDeleteJust keep calm and carry on.
Blessings and Bear hugs in the meantime.
Cookies make up for a lot. Lots of cookies make up for even more.
ReplyDeleteYours are the neatest cookies. They make mine look messy. Insecure...
Cookies, yeah. When all else fails there are always cookies.
