My Theme for the A to Z Challenge

My theme for the Challenge this year is The Expat Life. I will post every day but Sunday in April about living as an American Expat in (mostly) Mexico.

If you're interested in signing up for the A to Z Challenge, please go here, to the official website. Sign up begins March 23. The Theme Reveal is an optional Blog Hop for participants to reveal their themes.

Having lived out of my home country off and on for twelve years, I'm excited about this theme because I have so much to share. It shouldn't be too hard to come up with 26 blog posts from A to Z. I like writing them in advance to take the pressure off. Then I can spend time visiting other blogs in the Challenge and discovering new ones.

    1. I am currently in Mexico. I've found it has the best options for me, in what I'm looking for as an expat.

    2. Wishing you the best. Does this mean you're not a US citizen anymore or are you both? I'm not sure how it works as I've only lived in one county.

  3. I don't do A to Z or NanoWriMo (now defunct) or the 12X12 challenge, but I look forward to your X-pat posts of all the letters 🌹

    1. I'm amazed that this Challenge has outlasted so many other more nationally known and celebrated challenges for writers, like NanoWriMo.

  4. That will be fascinating. I know just enough Spanish to be dangerous.

  5. I didn't participate in last year's A to Z due to a personal situation but read some of the bloggers and found your blog. I still don't know if I will participate but I didn't realize the theme reveal was going on now. I will definitely be reading your blog but need to decide if I am going to participate.

  12. I'm sure we'll find out where you are, so I won't ask. Mostly due to the fact I was in the Navy, I've visited many countries, so I'm looking forward to this. Interestingly, I have never been to Mexico. The closest I came was when I was visiting a friend in San Diego. We made it to a bar in National City. Another post for another day, I suppose. My wife and I visited her family in (Mendoza) Argentina last year; I love it. Were it not for the fact I have children and grandchildren in the US, we'd go there in a heartbeat

  14. Thanks for visiting my blog. I found several things here of interest. First, I've heard of Nero Wolf, but didn't know much about him. He sounds right up my alley. Also, your book about Guatemala. My mother-in-law was from there, and all of my husband's cousins, etc., are still there. I've been to Panajachel. I'll have to check out your book.
