I Want to Buy Your Book

And now something for those of you with a book or books for sale. I'm excited about this particular contest. When I held the Pay it Forward Contest, I really really really wanted a chance to buy one of your books and review it on my blog, on Amazon and Goodreads. It didn't work out, as the winner didn't have a book out and chose a query and 3- chapter review instead.

So now I'm offering this for a prize:

I will buy your book, and review it here, on Goodreads, and Amazon.

I'll twitter your pitch to my nearly 200 followers, and ask them to RT it to their followers.

Because writers buy books, and support other writers!

  1. I love how you're trying to Pay it Forward! I'm doing the same thing today through July 31st on my blog. Maybe somehow we can link up or you could take part.

I'm still super excited about winning the query contest! Once I get a moment to breathe today, I'm going to get my chapters over to Allie:)

  6. I'm Elizabeth Isaacs author of "The Light of Asteria" and I now stalk you on Twitter, tweeted this blog, and am putting your button on my sidebar! :-) I'll ask some of my writing buddies to enter as well. Thank you so much for the opportunity!

  7. The fact that you called it Pay it Forward actually made me a bit emotional. That's what I think the whole world should be about.
    :D

I've written two books, Dimensions of Genesis is in print and Inhuman will be in print in August.

I've happily added you to my twitter. :D

  9. Your support of the writing community is wonderful. I re-tweeted your tweet with the link back to here.

I'd enter this round if I had a book out.

  10. The Freak Observer is out August 1. Is that soon enough? (Amazon thinks it doesn't come out until November, but that is not true.)

  11. Are you sure you don't want to open it to e-books? Most e-books can be read on the computer (you don't need a device), and it would save you some $$.

My recently released novel Life, Liberty, and Pursuit is available in e-book and print, so count me in either way! I'll also blog/tweet/fb about this tomorrow, and I already follow you on Twitter. I think that's something like 6 pts. :)

I love the way you are paying this forward! I'm running a contest on my blog as well, with prizes for writers and readers, and supporting writers by encouraging people to review.

Thanks for running such a great series supporting writers! :)

  12. Great opportunity for writers. I'm going to post this on my blog, even if I can't enter because I don't have a published book (sniff).

  13. Girl, I have six books you can choose from!
I'm a follower, I followed your Twitter, and I just Tweeted. That's 4 points. I'll blog about in my Friday roundup and leave another comment then.
Congratulations! And dear Lord, we have about the same amount of followers, which means I'll hit 300 soon, too. Eek!

  14. About the ebooks-- I still have the whole summer to do another contest, so if you have an ebook instead, you'll get your chance. Maybe I'll need to go buy my iphone for that one lol!

  18. This is so exciting, Karen! I wish I had a book to enter, but I don't (YET!) I'm anxious to read your review of your lucky winner's book.

  19. This really is such a good idea! If I could get my act together, I'd love to do something like that on my blog. Brainstorming!

  20. What a great way to pay it forward! It's such a good idea, Karen. :o) Alas, all I have are nonfiction things and nothing worth reviewing. Unless you want an in-depth look at the mammals of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, I'll sit this one out. :o)

Good to luck to all the participants. You're awesome, Karen!
